Weibull distributions are widely used in failure time data analysis. In this talk we will discuss several Weibull distribution models and their applicability in various engineering applications. Parametric estimation methods and some software tools for fitting Weibull models will be demonstrated. I will also give a brief of introduction of Weibull regression, which is one of the most popular data analysis methods for reliability data with covariates, such as the data from accelerated life tests.
